Position Summary:
  • Assists the Marketing department with various initiatives aimed at increasing the College’s visibility and engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Supports the department in the development and promotion of marketing campaigns.
  • Review the College websites for updates including broken links, content for each term, policies and procedures, etc.
  • Takes photos/videos at College events; curates content for social media.
  • Assists with conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for the College.
  • Collaborates with other departments to support the needs of various requests such as creating flyers, posters, newsletters, etc.
  • Provides general administrative support to the marketing team such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, and conducting interviews for alumni success stories.
  • Assists with creating social media content to increase audience reach and engagement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the area of Marketing.
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
  • Solid understanding of different Marketing techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of basic office equipment and software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Ability to work events hosted on weekends or evenings.
