Position Description

Each floor at The Landings is supported by a Resident Assistant (RA) who functions as a student advisor and resource for the residents. The RAs are responsible for helping to maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning while also building community with the residents. Throughout the year, the RAs will plan educational, cultural, and social activities that are designed to build positive communities on campus. Additionally, the RA provides a great variety of services from mediating roommate conflicts to initiating needed maintenance or repairs. You as an RA will be the first point of contact whenever residents have any questions. Each night, a team of RAs are on duty to make sure that the halls and floors are safe.

Minimum Qualifications

1. The RA must be registered and scheduled for classes at Terra State Community College.

2. The RA must always hold and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

3. The RA must have lived at The Landings for at least one semester.

4. The RA must not have gone through a student conduct process during their time at Terra State Community College.
